Job Title: Full-Time Jewelry Salesperson

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Full-Time Jewelry Salesperson to join our team at Gold Mine Jewelry and Custom Designs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewelry, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role involves assisting customers in finding the perfect pieces, providing expert advice, and ensuring a memorable shopping experience.
 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces that meet their preferences and budget.

• Provide detailed information about the features, benefits, and value of various jewelry items.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

• Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and handling returns or exchanges.

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring displays are attractive and well-stocked.

• Stay updated on current jewelry trends, new arrivals, and company promotions.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

• Participate in inventory management, including restocking and conducting regular stock checks.

• Assist in visual merchandising and creating appealing product displays.

• Complete training for an understanding of jewelry types, stones, etc.

• Update website with product information and assist with online sales.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the jewelry industry.

• Knowledge of jewelry types, materials, and trends.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships.

• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in jewelry sales or gemology are a plus.
